Mabwell's Adalimumab Included in the 2026 National Essential Drug List

Mabwell (688062.SH, 02493.HK), an innovative biopharmaceutical company with a fully integrated industry chain, announces that Junmaikang (Adalimumab Injection) has been included in the newly updated National Essential Drug List (2026), continuing to benefit patients with chronic autoimmune diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and psoriasis. 

The National Essential Medicines List serves as China's core pharmaceutical catalog for ensuring basic medical needs of the population, with selection criteria focused on essential therapies for disease prevention and treatment, proven efficacy, and equitable accessibility. The List operates under a dynamic optimization and adjustment mechanism, with each update comprehensively evaluating changes in China's disease spectrum and clinical diagnosis and treatment needs within the country. Included in the List signifies that the drug has received recognition as a clinical necessity. Drugs included in the Essential Medicines List are granted priority status within the treatment systems of public medical institutions at all levels across China, facilitating standardized follow-up medication for long-term chronic disease patients, reducing travel and dispensing costs for repeat prescriptions, and enhancing treatment convenience. 

Junmaikang (Adalimumab Injection), co-developed by Mabwell and Junshi Biosciences, was first approved for marketing in China in 2022 and has been included in the National Reimbursement Drug List (Category B). To date, Junmaikang has received approval for 8 indications in China, including rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriasis, uveitis, polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis, pediatric plaque psoriasis, Crohn's disease, and pediatric Crohn's disease. The product's partnership network covers 17 countries, with marketing applications submitted in 7 countries, and it received marketing approval in Indonesia in 2025.
